The most iconic, most beloved of all Italian cheeses. Coming only from a very restricted area of Italy: the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna (on the left banks of the river Reno) and Mantova (on the right banks of the river Po).

The hard, granular cheese is fruity and nutty with a lingering aftertaste. Perfect on a cheese platter or antipasti board, you can also try it with a drizzle of aged balsamic vinegar or grated over any dried or fresh pasta.
