N’duja and Scamorza Ravioli, Tomato Sauce Meal Kit

The slight spiciness of the ‘Nduja (a soft, spicy Calabrian sausage) pairs perfectly with the smokiness of the Scamorza (smoked mozzarella). Traditionally served with butter at our delicatessen, the dish also combines really well with our homemade tomato sauce, fresh basil and grated Grana Padano for a slightly lighter approach.

Homemade Tomato Sauce (200gr for 1 portion)

Grana Padano
Bring a pan of generously salted water to the boil. Once boiling, reduce to medium simmer. Add Ravioli and cook for 4 mins, or longer if necessary. Warm the sauce on low heat in a separate pan until heated through. To microwave, put in a safe container, cover loosely and put on full power for 2 mins or until thoroughly heated. Add the cooked pasta and basil to the sauce. Toss together until sauce coats the pasta. Spoon onto a plate and finish with grated Grana Padano.
Ravioli ‘Nduja (Pork, Chilli, Peppers Salt), Ricotta, Scamorza, (Flour, Semolina, Pasteurised Eggs, Salt, Nutmeg), Homemade Tomato Sauce (Tomato, Olive Oil, Garlic, Onion, Carrot, Celery, Red Wine, Sugar, Salt), Fresh Basil, Grana Padano.
Store in fridge and consume by use by date (there’s around a 3-day shelf life for fresh pasta and homemade sauces). Pasta and sauces can be frozen for up to 3 months. Cook pasta straight from frozen and add 1 – 2 minutes to the cooking time. Defrost sauce thoroughly before using then reheat according to cooking instructions.

This pasta kit should be consumed on the day of delivery or frozen immediately on receipt following the storage instructions above.
